Red Rocks Community College Top Questions

What's unique about your campus?

The best thing about my school is the absolutely diverse group of students that attend. Without our differences school would be bland and boring. Classes are always fun and are made interesting because so many students can provide different viewpoints. Sometimes I am just floored by what my classmates say. I come home each night with a fresh view of the world because I am able to view it over and over again through the eyes of my peers.

The teachers and students all seem happy and I think it will be a productive school setting. I have been told from friends that have been there for part of their degree and they feel that they had better attention and in some cases better instructors than the professors in the major university they are going to currently. The best thing about my school is that is small enough to care for the individual and large enough to accomodate needs for a successfull learning environment.

The best thing about my school is that it provides a chance for non-traditional students like myself to grow and learn and succeed and provides excellent academia for a fraction of the cost of a regular institution. It's all about giving people chances and showing that even if your past isn't perfect and you weren't born with a silver spoon in your mouth, you can still have a shot at making it. I am very grateful to Red Rocks.

the class sizes because it helps to get the personal one on one time with the staff when it is needed

The best thing about my college is I save alot of money! Since my family do not have much money to spend on big four year universities i started my education at a community college so I pay alot less money than I would at a four year university. Therefore, I have not taken out any loans to pay for college because I dont have to come up with thousands of dollars all at once! If I decide to take only a few classes at a time I can afford to pay it all at once!

The classes are small and you can really get one on one help from the professors.
