Great school with a close knit group of students. Athletics are incredible
11/10. OK, so I know a lot of people are hesitant to go to small schools because they tend to be easier to get into and people thing they won't have that "prestige" factor. Personally, I would rather graduate with no debt (thanks, Ru scholarships) and a resume full of publications, awards, internships, and leadership positions that I was able to get because there are SO MANY opportunities to shine at a small school. I have had the time of my life up here in these beautiful mountains! Also, the profs care about you as individuals. My advisor is helping me graduate a semester early!
Overall, Reinhardt is a great place. We are a big family that is learning to become responsible adults. There are problems just like any college, but we overcome it together. The professors really care about the students and make sure they are learning to the best of their abilities.
At first, I wasn't sure if I would like it since it is surrounded by woods. However, once I got there, I fell in love with this college. The scenery is absolutely beautiful, the professors are always available, and the over-all student body is wonderful. There are plenty of places to study and hang out, clubs are also a must. I cant wait to start my freshman year here in the fall!
The fall 2020 acceptance rate for Reinhardt University is 87%. That means, out of _____ applications received in 2020 , _____ students were offered admission. The number of males who applied was _____ vs the number of females which was _____.
Take an active approach to determining which college will be the best direction for you to go whether you are looking for a good college or university as a student or as a student athlete. As a student athlete, get to know the situation within the present team to be sure the team is a good fit for you. Be sure to take a little more time in looking at the different colleges that you are considering. No one is going to hold your hand to make sure you go to class so be sure to go to class and take good notes. This will help you to be prepared for the tests that you will be taking, if you take good notes. Get involved around campus. Taking a summer class to get your feet wet is a good way to start your college experience.
Do be sure to do the best you can on the ACT and SAT tests. It does not hurt to take a prep class to help to maximize your chances to do well on these tests as they can play a big part in scholarship opportunities.
Someone who is more comfortable in a smaller school setting that is willing to get involved not only in class but extra curricular activities on campus as well.
I believe anyone should attend Reinhardt, but the prospective student should have organizational skills, communication skills, be perseverant and a hard worker. Pursing an education is not easy and requires a lot of patience and hard work.
The opportunity to expand your knowledge and the organizations that teach you leadership skills are what I believe is the best thing the school has. SIFE ( students in free enterprise) is a wonderful organization that gives a student an insight into the work force and how one should also give back to thier community. It helps mold a student into a moral and ethical leader.
Very diversified and entertaining
Overall my school is absolutely wonderful. There is really nothing about it that I do not like. However, if I have to mention one thing I do not particularly care for about it, it would be having the amount of "clicks" between the sports teams. There is not a whole lot of clicks at my school at all. The only group that consistently contains clicks between them are the sports teams. I wish they would be more open to branching out of the box and associating with different groups of people without fearing rejection from their normal group of friends.
We have a great Baseball program and I am one of the players on the team. They set a record for wins last season and I believe we will break that record again this year. As a Freshman, I am already contributing by being the winning pitcher in the first game I started. With a coaching staff that is helping us to develop as players as well as students to achieve our best.
Reinhardt's small town location would be the most frustrating aspect.
Reinhardt is a small and humble school that challenges you accademically but also has many professors and students that will give you assistance when it is needed.

There is no campus life
I think my school is unique because it is a private Christian school and we don't allow drinking and drugs on campus.
