Rhode Island College Top Questions

Is the stereotype of students at your school accurate?

Sarah

Even though RIC is a state school and therefore has lower tuition than a lot of other schools, that is not the only reason people go. RIC, to me, is more than just a state school and easy decision. I have transferred from a more selective, private, and more expensive college to come here and I am glad I did. Just because RIC is a state college doesn't mean it's not a good one. There are a lot of good students here who take advantage of RIC's many opportunities.

Kim

Pretty much. Since it's a small school that's very cheap to in-state students, the vast majority of people are from RI.
