Natasha

A student who needs engaged professors. A majority of the professors are there just for the pay, you can tell they don't like what they do.

Paige

I would have to say a student who wants to attend a big universtiy that is a major contributer to sports, also a student who want to be apart of sority life and wants to be into the life around campus. Agian this college is a very small college, also RIC doesnt have scholarship for sports because we are Division 3 in sports. So a student who wants a Sport scholarship and or be apart of a big team shouldnt attend this college.

Meaghan

Anybody looking for a large campus with lot of activities should not attend this school. The campus is very small and I do not feel as though I am receiving the full college experience because of that. Due to the small campus, there is not much opportunity for activities to be offered.

Alexander

Anyone that wants an active and engaged student body. There are involved students, but they are the minority. Anyone that wants a large residental student body, 86{4a082faed443b016e84c6ea63012b481c58f64867aa2dc62fff66e22ad7dff6c} of students at RIC commute due to limited space in the dorms. It's also a large campus community with about 9,000 undergrads and 1,000 grad students, it's not ideal for someone looking for an intimate college setting.

anyone who is not ready to learn should not bother

christina

Students who go to school everyday with the mindset of getting it over with. These students are the ones that do not listen in class, try on assignments and do not engage themselves in school activities. Students with this mindset will not gain from the great experience and oppurtunity to be able to be in school. Education is something that not everyone gets the chance of recieving so it should never be taken for granted.

Jalaina

The type of person that should not attend this school are the people who think that college is all about the reputation of their social life. Rhode Island College does have some parties and it does have activities but that shouldnt be all your in school for. Your main reason for college should be to get an edcuation and work on recieving your degree. The teachers at Rhode Island College will give you the grade you deserve, so if you think you can party everyday, skip class and pass , Rhode Island College is not the school for you.

Jillian

If you are the kind of person who likes a lot of things going on all the time your shouldn't attend this school. RIC is very small and only 20 percent fo the students live on campus. There are places to go on the weekends but the campus is very quiet from friday to sunday.

Amy

Someone wanting to party their college life away should not attend Rhode Island College. Though occasionally Rhode Island College students like to have some typical college fun, we are generally extremely focused on our work and will put it before anything else. I have turned down many an offer to attend a party or event because I have had too much work to complete. Grades, not our social lives, are the most important aspects of college life to us, as we are here to learn.

Kimberly

If you are a student that will not attend classes frequently, and does provide time for homework, then Rhode Island College is not for you.

Joshua

People that like warm weather, and hate the cold

Samantha

People that should attend this school should want to graduate in less than five years. If a person likes nice helpful office works don't come here. People that are allergic to mold or dust shouldn't come here, because the older building are not kept up. Basicly if a person want a good college experience don not coem to Rhode Island College.

Steven

Someone who is only focused on Partying.

Jamie

To attend Rhode Island College, you should be willing to put in a LOT of time and energy for your work. If you want to live on campus, be prepared to dish out money for disgusting food, broken elevators, but nice a/c and heat. You should be mature enough to get over people's pettiness, and willing to live with at least 7 other people. However, upper classmen can live with only 4 people (sometimes). You should be independent and not break the rules (or not get caught). Good luck!! :-)

Jeff

Anyone who is looking for a good education at a tight knit school.

Justin

People who don't like to participate in clubs or groups. It's really the only way to meet people outside of your residence halls or classes

Tayla

A person who is very interested in art

Amanda

Everyone can attend this school. This school has everything a student is looking for, whether it be from the facilities to the clubs available. The people who really wouldn't fit in are those who have majors that Rhode Island College doesn't have. But even at that, people can find majors relatively close to that of their intended major.
