I had a great experience here while getting my two year degree. Met some amazing people. Professors were excited and encouraging. Plenty of organizations and school sponsored activities to participate in. Richland really cares for its students. I will miss it.
Although I don't go onto the campus most of the time, since I take online classes due to working most of time. I do go up to the campus for financial advice as well as to meet with advisors about future courses, each time I do I am met with great staff! They always have options for me as to make it easier for my education life as well as my personal life. While also providing other services such as counseling sessions!
Overall, I think Richland is a great community college. They supply many opportunities for their students to succeed. It is perfect for those who want it transfer to a four-year university in their future and the classes are inexpensive. I think it is a nice school.
Overall the college is good when it comes to education. The professors are very helpful and knowledgeable of their subject but not only that, the professors are very nice, friendly, caring, and respectful which made the learning part easier because they provide stress free environment.
The fall 2020 acceptance rate for Richland Community College is 100%. That means, out of _____ applications received in 2020 , _____ students were offered admission. The number of males who applied was _____ vs the number of females which was _____.
Not to get married and have children at such an young age. Get my degree and learn about myself before committing to a relationship.
I wish I had known that Richland is much like a continuation of high school, and students are often already in their own clique, comprised of other students they often already knew and hung out with in high school. Because of this it is hard to make close friends, although almost everyone is friendly and more than willing to help or talk when it comes to coursework.
Those not serious about their studies
My school is best known for its accessebility. Students of all ages, races, backgrounds, and financial situations have an affordable opportunity to further their education. In this day's economy, saving money is very important; my school has tried to help it's students do that.
The school I chose to attend is unique because the professors are much more available to students compared to other universities. The professors truly care about how you are doing and most are willing to set up extra tutoring if needed.
I consider the best thing about Richland Community College to be the the fact that the class sizes are small enough to provide individual help when needed, however they are large enough to be able to be able to work with classmates to maximize the effectiveness of each lesson that is taught. I also appreciate that Richland is very focuses on helping each student with not just coursework, but also extra-curricular activities, and getting them involved in programs which will help them to learn habits to be more successful students throughout their college career.
I brag most about Richland Community College's staff. The Professors here are very available, flexible, and caring. They go above and beyond to help students stay on the right track. For example, many professors provide home phone numbers. They assist with putting together and hosting study groups.
