I really love being able to have a close relationship with my professors it helps me to reach higher academic levels. The professors know their students and strive to help them and push them to exceed. I’ve had more individual help from my college professors than my high school teachers. Ripon exceeds my expectations academically I really feel I get the best education here than I would anywhere else.

It's a great college for academics. The economics department was ranked #1 in the state of Wisconsin. The class sizes are extremely small which allows for a personal connection. The professors are almost always available. Athletics is dominant on the campus. Especially with the new fitness center.

As a student of Ripon College I think going to this school was the best choice I could of made. The school is great because it is small, meaning I can have access to my professors all the time and not worry about over filled classes. The school also offers a lot of resources for students who struggle like me . The college’s academic system is also setup very nicely to where I am guaranteed to graduate within four years. Overall I think Ripon College is amazing!

It is a good school, sure there is room for improvement in different areas but there is an overall cozy feeling about this place. Being small you will know, or know about, a lot of people along with knowing your professors. With many professors encouraging you to stop and visit them you can stand out more to them and be more involved in different areas.

  9. What's the one thing you wish someone had told you about freshman year?

    Books are incredibly expensive. First semester freshman year, you pretty much have to order them through the book store. After that, it is easier to sign up for classes ahead of time and order the books for cheaper online. The bookstore on campus does have some good deals, but you can save a good amount of money by looking online at for example half.com.

TUITION & AID

All students must apply yearly for financial aid. This process starts with the FAFSA. Though financial aid deadlines vary by school, it is a good idea to apply as soon as possible. For the upcoming school year, you can apply as early as October 1 for the FAFSA. Additional school aid will be dependent on the FAFSA results.
