What's unique about your campus?

Joseph

The best thing about Riverside City College is the flexibility of classes because many are offered at night, as well as during the day. This affords many the opportunity to juggle work, family, and school simultaneously. Additionally, it has 2 satellite campuses along with online classes making it more accessible to many in Riverside county.

The best thing about my school is the parking situation. When I attended the University of California, Riverside, it would take me sometimes 20 minutes to find a parking spot. When I transferred to Riverside Community College, the Norco campus, the first thing I noticed was how much easier it was to park and go to class compared to my old school. This gave me more time to study because I would not have to leave my house 20 to 30 minutes earlier to find parking. Also, the parking permits are relatively cheep.

The best part about Riverside Community College is, by far, the student body government. Being involved with this group of people has made going to community college a lot more exciting. This group of people meet together not only around the senate table, but around a table in the cafeteria, sharing textbooks, starting study groups, discussing teachers and classes, and making plans to better the student body. Riverside Community College has been the best place to start my college experience.

The best thing about Riverside Community College is the lengths they go to to help the students in and out of the classroom. They offer every student the ability to ride the local bus freely at anytime to any destination which is great if you have no transportation and you work. They also provide financial aid, tutorial services, and health programs to all students as well as a comprehensive program for students with learning disablities.

Cynthia

The best this about my school is that it is nearby.

If I had to choose one thing that stands out about Riverside Community College it would be that there are always people willing to help you make the transition. Be it a teacher, counselor, or campus representative, they are all about helping you find the steps to further your education and get to where you want to be. They help you identify goals, find a way to get the classes you need, and help with finding the funds for all of it.

Cristina

A wide range of classes.

The teachers. I just went back to school, and the 2 teachers I have had were so great, explaining in detail of the assignments and the work. I have had problems in my past learning, math, and as of right now I have an A in the class.
