Rivier University is an institution based on core fundamental values that every student should possess. Courtesy, respect, responsibility, and a good moral sense of community are the values that allow for Rivier students to excel in transforming hearts and minds to serve the world. Therefore, if an oncoming student is not hard working, does not partake in service learning to better serve their community, and is not motivated for their future in which ever profession they chose, they should not attend Rivier University.

Rivier college offers a variery of majors, making it a school that has something for every interest. However, Rivier College is a very strict school and also expensive. Someone who is adventurous and wanting to breeze through school without putting in the effort should not attend Rivier College. That person will find himself in financial debt and an academic transcript with less than satisfactory grades.
