RMU Illinois is not the typical college experience. Its in the heart of Chicago & it is only one building, making it less of a college atmosphere & more of a work-like environment. Since it's on State Street, it's not particularly safe outdoors, but that mainly applies to the night life. It also does not have a dormitory that is only RMU kids. There is a building directly across the street that serves as a dorm building for RMU, DePaul, Roosevelt, & Columbia. Classes are in a smaller setting (30- 35 kids max), making it easier to pay attention & have a more personal experience. Classes are ridiculously easy freshman & sophomore year! Also, studying abroad is highly advertised but ridiculously priced ($10+K).
I am very satisfied with my enrollment at Robert Morris University. I am in need of financial support to avoid an interruption with my upcoming classes. Please help me UNIGO!
I absolutely love the school. I attend the Chicago campus and it is such an amazing experience. I live at home so I commute every day and theres a bunch if other students that do too. Teachers are always willing to help you if you're struggling in their class or even outside of the class room
My overall opinion of Robert Morris University is that it is an amazing school that has a lot of excellent opportunities to succeed. They have several majors that are offered. I am happy that I chose to attend this university because I have met many people with different backgrounds and goals.

I would tell myself to take my highschool year seriously. Study and prepare for the Act/Sat as early as possible. Apply to colleges/universities early so that I can get a better idea on who may accept me. Make sure that your financial aid is in and on time. Study and prepare for test and I will make it.
the variety of programs they offer
The type of person who shouldn't attend this school, would be the type of person who is undecided about what thier educational goals are. Robert Morris College is fairly expensive, so student still discovering who they are and what they want to studywould be better served to attend a community college to discover what direction they would like to peresue. Also, a person who is not well organized or does not use his or her time well, would not like the ten week fast paced academic quarters at Robert Morris College.
My classmates are very helpful.
Someone that is driven and has goals.
To me with having smaller classes you get more hands on experience in the culinary arts field. The professors are willing to show you what you need to do to get the recipe the way it should be and will give tips to make it look more elegant. They are also having us meet other people in are field to see what they are like and give us some ideas to what we could exspect. So far i had 2 field trips for my field and i enjoyed what i had learned from then and got a idea on things.
Nothing at all.
The worst thing about my school is that there is not enough events that happpen at school.
acadmics and sports
The school seems very nice at first, they promise alot of help financially but don't deliver much help at all. The teachers were very good at the campus I went to (Springfield) but I was not impressed with the ones I had in DuPage, so I came back to Springfield. I was not satisfied with my overall finally knowledge gained from the school.
I wish I had known about their Medical Assisting Program, their wonderful teachers, their private library and computer rooms, their private cafeteria and modern up to date technology.
I usually tell my friends about how fast the school is and how much it costs. I also let them know that the class are provide in such a way that you have very little choice in taking what you want, unless you are will to stay longer to get the classes you want.
