I really loved Rockland Community College. It was a great place to get started. I earned my associate’s degree and am now transferring to a school nearby to work on obtaining my bachelor’s degree. Everyone is kind and helpful. I definitely recommend joining TRiO if you are eligible.
Rockland Community provides a very good education. I am majoring in AA libarts- English and I am content with my decision. The classes I have taken have provided with knowledge and lots of information of the subject. It is affordable and gives me enough time to get everything else done. The campus is safe and everything is there, so I definitely recommend this school to any student.
RCC has on line classes program which i am enrolled in. the on line classes are convenient and easy to follow along if you are studious.

If I could go back in time and talk to myself as a high school senior I would tell myself to study harder and learn better studying techniques. I would also tell myself to put school ahead of entertainment and not to stress the little things.
Rockland Community College is an establishment where students recognize the path in which they want to further their educations in the future.
I wish I had known how under staffed the college is and how incompetent many of the teacher there are.
The diversity and the friendliness. I love how Theres such a variety in different races and ethnicities and yet everyone is able to work together, socialize and get along
Rockland Community College offers great opportunities for students who aren't necessarily ready to embark to a 4-year institution right out of high school. Rockland Community College is considered a SUNY therefore most credits received are transferable when the student gets his/her associates degree. I believe RCC has many great aspects to give to its students and has a variety of majors as well as a very diverse group of students involved in the program.
The worst thing about Rockland Community College is that they have a terrible cafeteria, and they also have no on-campus housing and just recently added off-campus housing assistance. Also half the teachers tend to take class as a joke and curve grades so the kid who gets a 75 on his test gets a 95, and me who got the 100 gets a 100. This type of teaching leads kids to work half the time to achieve the full score and in the end, a degree which is half-earned. Menace of the Society? Correct.
Any person! Rockland Community College understands that a lot of "confused" students enter their school; students who are not sure what they want to pursue, or where they want to go. There are numerous resources, and lots of personalized help offered to get just about anyone on track. Personally, I recieved friendly and knowledgeable help from all the staff and advisors. Effort, discipline, and work ethic is necessary to suceed, and the professors do a wonderful job instilling those priciples in students that may not have come in with them.
If you want an urban setting, do not come here. This is a two year community college, and that says everything. It is a good school for its Honors program, and if you do well in the Honors program, there is a good chance you will be able to transfer to a good, four-year college.
My professors are either retired or still active police officers, leutenents and corrections officers.
The food is pretty expensive and not very well made. Also, after 3pm it's hard to get any food. Transportation by bus is difficult and exhausting.
