Rollins College Top Questions

What kind of person should attend this school?

Stefan

The type of person who should attend Rollins in my opinion is something that is secure with their appearance as well as their morals. The school has a knack for changing its matriculates and not retaining those who are susceptible to peer pressure. A person who will be academically and socially successful is someone who is out going, has a great personality, and does not feel threatened by what others say or think. This seems like common sense but at Rollins it truly makes the difference.

The kind of person that should attend Rollins College must be a hard worker, and someone that is serious about their education. Someone who wants to learn and go to class everyday, not someone who wants to sit in a lecture hall with 300 other students. Rollins college also wants students to get involved with school, so someone thinking about Rollins College should like to volunteer and help people also to get involved in clubs and sports.

Anybody can enjoy this school, but more specifically I would say those who enjoy the outdoors. There are many campus clubs and organizations that go out and explore Florida on various trips. There are also a great many sports to choose from and in particular I am on the sailing team which is a great team. The team is always helpful and always puts academics in front of the sport so at this college it is easy to be on a team and keep up with your studies.

People that like a close-knit, small-school environment definitely; you will always see someone you know walking across campus. It is a great opportunity for students who want to be involved in many aspects of school life. Students are open-minded and even those that don't participate in the arts are supportive of such events on campus. Students have big goals and put in the effort to see them realized.

I think anybody should attend this school, it's a great place to learn in the central Florida area -- I just think since tuition is so high you are forced to be from an upper middle class rich family.
