Before school even started, I had to pick a major. I wasn't sure which one I'd like best, so I chose mechanical engineering because it's probably the most broad major of all the engineering majors. It's nice because in our fast-paced, quarter system we are able to quickly start out in our majors. However, the downside to this occurs when a freshmen decides to change majors half way through the year because he will already be a class or two behind in his new major.

The cost to go there. It is very expensive and hard to afford.

The work load, it's steady, it's consistant, and it's relentless; get help as soon as you are stuck.

Haha. The worst thing about the school is its location, but it's really not that bad! Sure, there will be times when the constant variation of humidity and temperature will most likely get you off guard. And yea, there won't be much to do outside of campus besides eating taco bell and wendys, but the important thing is that you are here for your education, and if you get to know more people, watch a movie, or go bowling, you'll begin to love it here!

The worst thing about my school is the adjusting to the work load. Most students that come to this school did not have the best work load in High School and when they get here have to change there habits and focus more on their studys.

I think that the worst thing about my school is the lack of diversity. All of the students that are attending this school are pursuing majors in the fields of math and science. The location of the school is also a drawback. Since it is located outside of the city, students don't have much of an opportunity to experience things other than the culturally devoid campus on which they live.

The heavy workload, it's also one of the best things.

The worst thing about this school is probably the student's never ending need to be right and to correct. Now, not all of them are like that, but the problem exists in every group of people. I'm sure the other students don't realy see it as a problem, but I grew up with parents who were constantly working on improving their communication skills. I just wish they would think more about how to communicate better with others rather than feeling like their opinion of their version of truth always has to be heard.

Apathy. Being here is like being in another world. We often don't know what is going on outside of our campus. Most students know much about the election, or care. There's also a lack of understanding for things that are not real world, like art. It can be frustrating at times. On the other hand, engineers are my favorite sort of people because they are not at all pretentious, and people are friendly here, and I wouldn't trade it for the world.
