I like how helpful everyone is when you need them, and for me I transferred here from a four year college to save some money. So how much cheaper it is, is definitely a plus!
The best thing about Gloucester County College is that it is affordable education for everyone. It is appealling because you can take many classes and pay less than the price you would pay at a four year university. It is a great school to start out at.
Many people underestimate community colleges, but they are not only stepping stones to 4-year universities, but experiences in themselves. Gloucester County College is the best example of this; the best thing about my school is that the environment is extremely positive. People always hold the door for everyone, the staff are always more than happy to help students (and often go the extra mile with a smile on their faces), and there are always student activites occurring on campus. Gloucester County College definitely emphasizes being a community in a community college.
