I guess so.
If you are on campus it is very safe.
Definitely. You should see the swarms walking around on Thursday nights.
Not at all. I have gone home twice in the two semesters and I am a higher level student
yes
more less
For 95% of the student population, this is true.
A lot of people are fixated on drinking, so yes.
Not sure
Many students are partiers but there are also a large number of students who choose to not party.
i think our school is like any other school around the country.
For some people, yes. But at the same time, there are stupid people at most colleges and regardless of where you go you'll find people you click with in some way or another.
We might be at a state school, but you wouldn't know it. The education I'm getting here for PR is just as good as any other school (but better because of the highly-involved professors who help run extracurricular activities) and I'm getting more bang for my buck. For the longest time I dreamed of going to Syracuse or American University. After visiting Rowan I realized the $43,000 price tag that came with those schools wasn't worth it when I could be here. As for the heavy party kids, it's not so true anymore. Our campus is considered a dry campus (although no campus is ever really dry) but there are still a bunch of places to party off-campus. But we're not the party campus we used to be.
