I have a friend who goes to Indiana University on a grant or scholarships that was awarded to him because he lived with his single mother in an extremely low-income household; however, the amount of work he actually completes is mind boggling. My friend John sits around all day and sings and focuses on improving his voice instead of doing homework, going to class, and studying. Here in New Jersey, I bust my ass to get my 3.4 GPA and watch my loans pile up. John and those like him do not deserve to go to any school.
