College, particularly community college, is not an extension of high school. Had I only known the aforementioned statement, I would have approached my first year or so with a little more maturity. Basically, I wish I knew college would require much more maturity than the already mature person that I thought I had become. I entered community college with the assumption that my two years would be a piece of cake and I would breeze through each class; however, I was wrong because I underestimated what was required for success. Fortunately, I have grown up enough succeed in the future.
That going to college isn't as hard as I imagined it would be.
