Student on-campus involvement was not encouraged sufficiently to commuter students. At times it was a struggle to be involved as much as I might have like to be with campus activities.

There is very little to find fault with at this school. The campus facilities support every need, including a bank, conveinent store, and many places to eat. This is impressive for its relatively small size. Everyone is more than helpful. Parking is possible and fair, and the on-campus Police support the feeling of safety. The only thing I can think of to complain about is the lack of policy against the students who take advantage of the ability to textmessage on cellphones. This is not a serious problem but merely and anoyance; never, ever during any kind of test.

The worst thing about SVSU is that it is too small. I wish the campus and the student body were bigger.

The worst thing about my school is the size, I believe if the school was a little bigger there would be more things to do on campus and it would not be dead on the weekends.

Fort Scott Community College is a wonderful school and I have had a great learning experience there. If I did have to pick the worst thing about the school, it would have to be classrooms. It is a very old school so naturally things go wrong. I would love to see funding for improvements that it desperately needs.

The worst thing about my school is that it does not offer a Masters in Counseling or Masters in Social Work program.

The worst thing about my school is probably the large liberal influence; during the past presidential election, all I saw were Obama posters. Sometimes it's such an overwhelming majority, the other political parties get silenced and you don't get the same diversity as SVSU has with other areas, like race and religion.

The only real bad thing about this school are the lack of jobs in the immediate area surrounding the university. I can see how this would scare some students as many of them are local kids that chose stay local for their studies and may not want to move away after graduation.

The worst thing about my school is having the recreation center not close to the dorms or apartments. I believe less students use the recreation center because it is too far away and in winter time, walking in the cold is not fun!

I wish there were more outside activities for students in the surrounding areas. Many of the social activities on campus can sometimes appeal to only a certain group of students, or the activities are not very big events. Other than sporting events and weekend parties, nothing seems to draw a very large group of students. I would like to see businesses in the cities near campus hold different events for the students to attend and socialize at, giving us more choices of activities and still a safe environment to participate in.

The worst thing about my school is that I will not be able to obtain my Masters degree here. They do not provide that degree.

The worst thing about my school is the quality of professors that we have. Out of my two and a half years at this university, I have only liked a handful of my teachers. Everything else, besides paying for classes, has been mostly enjoyable.

The worst thing about this school is the parking. There is never enough parking for everyone, usually i am late to class if i drive because i drive around forever trying to find a spot. Another bad thing about this school is the cost of on living campus, i cannot afford to live off campus but since on campu living is included in tuition than i stay on campus even though in the long run it will cost me more.
