Saint Cloud State University Top Questions

I really have enjoyed my experience so far at St Cloud State University. There is a definite sense of community and belonging, and have yet to have a professor I wasn't fond of. The professors are very pleasant, approachable, and there to help you. If you are looking for a big University or a University with a large school atmosphere, St Cloud is not for you. If you are somebody looking for a small school with a sense of belonging, St Cloud would be a perfect fit.

This is a great school. However, if you dislike cold weather and getting involved in activities, then this is not the college for you. The winters are brutal, with frequent below zero weather. The activities on campus are always growing and looking for new members, so if you do not like getting involved, then SCSU is not for you. Another good reason to not attend St. Cloud, is if they do not offer your major as an option. The personalities of people attending this school are so vast that it is difficult to find a good reason not to attend.

Someone who thinks St Cloud State is nothing but a party school and only want to come here to drink alcohol and learn nothing. People shouldn't attend here if they are looking for an easy path to success, you have to work hard at school.

One who hates doing homework. I have homework ALL the time!

The only person who shouldn't attend this school is a person who's primary intent of attending a college or university is the school's prestige. St. Cloud State University is affordable to students and therefore must cut back on some of the state-of-the art facilities that other, larger universities are able to incorporate into their education.

Some one who is from out of state and wanting to go to a diverse university should not go to SCSU.

Someone who can't learn something on their own if they need to if professors aren't around to help.

Anyone who doesn't like hockey or being around a lot of people at any given time.

Someone that needs to graduate in a hurry

In the science departments we have lots of foreign professor which may be hard to understand. So anyone who may have difficulty understanding accents, or want really acedemically strong teachers so probably look for a more intellectually focused school.

Someone who is looking for an easy ride through college.

Someone who doesn't exactly know what they want to do. It's a good place to explore what interests you.

A really really studious person who is Harvard smart.
