I would tell myself to start preparing as soon as possible, and how much college completely costs to bring it more into perspective. Secondly I would tell myself to study more and to get the best grades I can as well as to make the most out of the last year of highschool because once you graduate you will be treated like an adult. Thirdly I would tell him to apply for all of the scholarships/ grants that he could because it will help with tuition. Last but not least i would tell myself to take college very seriously the grades you get will not only let you transfer to a better college but good grades will also help you get money to help you pay for college so you don't go into debt.

First I would ask myself if I am confident in the career path I had chosen. If not, I would encourage myself to attend a technical or community college first. By attending a college like so, it would be cheaper for me to complete my general education requirements and I could take classes to find out what I would be interested as a career path. Next, I would advise myself to communicate with other colleges to see if they participate in a 2+2 program or a program where my associate degree could count towards my bachelors, and inquire about which general classes they would accept. By doing this, I am able to route an educational track that would fit best with my personal and economical needs. I would start participating in internships or volunteer opportunities that would show me possible career options with my major (both at the associate and bachelor levels). While taking advantage of internship or volunteer opportunities, I would be able to confirm my passion for the career path that I have chosen and translate that passion to my studies as well. Perusing education in this manner helps ensure better grades and passion for my career.

If I could go back and talk to myself as a high school senior, I would say work hard and give this year your all because it will make things so much easier for you as a college student. Don't get cauught up in fitting in or keeping up with what your peers are doing. Let your focus be set on achieving your dreams , because after high school I gurantee you those people won't matter. And also surround yourself with the RIGHT people. People who have ambition like yourself, people who push you to do bigger and better things. Even though you don't realize it, you become the people you hang around. So, choose your friends wisely. And when things get hard, don't get discouraged, don't give up because the world is in your hands and you can truly have it all. You have to believe in yourself even when others don't.

I have already attended a 4-year college and have my degree in Marketing. Last year I finally figured out what I really wanted to do with my life, health and nutrition. Since then I have started taking night classes although I work full time and am a single mother to a 3 year old. At times it can be rough but I just keep my eye on the prize and that it what makes me a great college student.

I will tell myself to seek out more sources for help with transiting from high school to college. Make sure to network and get involve in many activities as possible so I be able to find a great job after graduation. Seek out various resources such as mentors and counselors for issues and career advice. I would also tell myself that everything does not go as planned. Come up with great alternatives when an opportunity does not work out. She has to be able to realize she is not perfect. . Overall, I will tell her to learn to manage her time, so she can study and relax. College is hard for everyone, especially freshman year, and by having a plan, you are able to quickly get over any surprising obstacles.

If I could go back and talk to my self in high school, I would tell myself to be more confident in my abilities as a student. I ask people why they didn't go to college right out of high school and many of them have told me that it was because they didn't think that they could suceed in college. "I'm not smart enough" Also, I would tell myself to rely on the efforts of the financial aid office of your chosen school to get you through college, another response as to why some people did not attend college right out of high school was that they didn't have the money to go to college. A student loan should be considered as an investment in a brighter and more lucrative future for yourself. Finally, a community college is a great place to start if you are worried about both your academic abilities and the cost, the people in a two-year institution can be a little more accessible than at a four-year institution while you are paying smaller tuition costs.

Knowing what I know now about college and the transition i would tell myself that i shouldnt have slacked off my freshman year. Grades are very important and especially in college. i would also tell myself that you should watch how much money you spend knowing that college is going to be one of the most expensive things you pay for. If i could give myself advice along the way i would tell myself that nobody changes you, you change yourself. you cant rely on anyone circumstances and people change you should only count on the ones you are really close with. even being close with them you should still go after what your heart desires. i had trouble through my sophmore year with a decision of going to Polaris Career Center with my parents talking me down and trying to get me out of it. those two last years of high school were by far the best two years of my life cooking getting to know people i am glad that i chose to do with my life. seeing that at a competition i was the best out of 250 people it was great. my name is kyle helderman

I would have told myself to stop trying to be what you're not. That I should have taken Deaf communications and you should have known your sister would not have listened. Don't waste 3 years of your life trying to do something you don't really enjoy. I shouldn't have moved out of town to go to school. A driver's license would have been nice to have too.

First I would explain how this last year of high school is just important as the other three years prior. So do my best and when I get to college take every class serious even if it's a basic class get involved on campus get a tutor if needed. Enbrace myself from my hair to my feet and stay focus and I will see positive result soon!

If I could talk to myself as a high school senior I would say, "Stop slacking." I would tell myself to apply to colleges as soon as possible. I would tell myself to stop skipping classes and get A's. I would tell myself that I am not invincible.

If i could go back in time i would tell myself to not procrastinate and put my work off. In college there are only deadlines and very rarely does anyone get a makeup date. Also there's no way to get around doing your work. Extra credit come maybe just maybe once a semester if that. I would tell myself to do all the work and study hard for each and every quiz, test, and exam and not fool around getting distracted with my environment. Another thing I would do is prepare for future assignments and test by looking ahead in the books. Paying attention in class and asking for help make you remember what is being taught or instructed.

Live up to your potential and study hard. If your grades are better you will qualify for scholarships and avoid the headaches of student loans. Become more involved in school activities because they give you motivation to succeed while you help others. Above all else, do not let anyone change your goals in life. If you want an education you have to fight to make it happen. If someone tries to deter you, remind yourself that someone who cares would support and not hinder. You have intelligence and a hunger to learn so don't let it go to waste. Most of all, follow your path in life with confidence as you realize that nobody can take away what you have learned.

Make sure that you are really ready to go right into it . ANd if you are not then you should take a break and work for a while and save up some money to do the things that you really want to do, cause when it is time to go to school then you will be ready to get to work and do the work that you need to do to get the grades.

If I could tell myself something I would say not to procrastinate but I find myself doing that a lot and I have to work double time just to get back on track.
