The worst thing about my school is student relationships. Many students who apply to community colleges see it as an obstacle keeping them from getting a job, or from getting into their ideal college. They go to school strictly to complete what they came to do, but don't get involved and remain distant from fellow students, making it difficult for friendships to develop.
Compared to a four year university, It is more difficult to get to know people and make friends at a community college, because everyone lives very close, so they all stay involved with their high school friends, and they don't have a mindset that's about branching out of their comfort zones.
I wish they offer more programs some people I know wish they can go to the same school but don't offer the class they need.
It is a commuter school but I wish people would become friends with one another more.
The worst thing about my school is the overall environment. The campus is not a very fun or exciting place to be, which causes students to come only for class time, making things very dull. Because of this, Meramec seems more like a high school than a college campus.
