smc is a gorgeous, small, catholic (but not bible-school), christian brothers institution, not centrally located in the beautiful, clean, rich, slow-paced lamorinda community in near the oakland hills in the east bay area; it is one of few colleges/universities that offer great books cirricula, and its basketball and rugby teams are constantly ranked in the top 10 in the country.
