What kind of person should not attend Saint Mary’s University of Minnesota?

Someone who doesn't want a good sense of family or community in their school. If you are hoping to go to some big state school this is the wrong place. We have a great sense of community here. You don't know everyone by name, but you can recognize almost everybody just by passing them in the halls.

Someone who prefers a huge party scene shouldn't attend Saint Mary's. Saint Mary's is a small, private college where students are able to bond thanks to small class sizes as well as a small campus. Winona is a small town, and although parties on campus are numerous and easy to find, the night life of Saint Mary's is much more controlled than those of larger urban schools.

Students who are loners would not like it here. This is a very small campus and we are very close with each other. If you don't have a strong faith background this campus is religious based and religion classes are expected.
