I believe that Saint Xavier University is a great school to attend. For me, before I had moved away, Saint Xavier was very close to home, so I did commute for the first two years of my college experience, then I had recently started dorming. The school was very welcoming and kind towards both their residents and their commuters. The school gives an equal opportunity for both commuters and residents to really be apart of and involved with the school. In addition, in many schools you are just a number in a class room, or just a seat taken in a class, whereas at Saint Xavier, the professors actually get to know who you are. You get to become someone inside the classroom and outside. It truly is a great school to attend.

It's okay. Just get involved and you'll feel great.

My overall opinion of Saint Xavier University is that its a really good school because of the size of student and resources. I love the resources in this school because they is a lot to choose from for example the learning center where they tutor students. Also i like the size of student for each class because the most will be 35 so the proffers will actually know your name and help you with work.

  2. What should every freshman at your school know before they start?

I originally chose Columbia College as my first choice, SXU as my second and was accepted to both. Due to financial setbacks I chose to attend Saint Xavier University and I can honestly say that it was probably the best decision I've ever made. This is my fourth year here at SXU and I will be here one more year after. No school is perfect, they all have heir own set of pros and cons; but Saint Xavier has mad great efforts in expanding the campus in every aspect possible and it as made my college experience FANTASTIC!

  4. Here's your chance: Say anything about your college!

Saint Xavier University is different from other schools because they have very small class sizes, which allows for more one on one time. With that, I feel more like a student rather than just another face in a big lecture hall. With more one on one time, I am getting a better education since it will be easier to get help if I have problems with anything. I also noticed that SXU has a very high percent of graduates having a full-time job, even in this economy, and that set SXU above other schools to me.

There is too much racism. When I first started, there was not a lot of diversity so not everyone got along very well. It's too small of a school and everyone is consntatly in your business. Undergraduate dorms are unhealthy and unkept. There is violence in our area and I feel unsafe.
