Salt Lake community college has very good professors. They are highly educated and have a high knowledge about what they teach. They are flexible and provide makeup opportunity for students who missed some assignment or sometimes tests. SLCC is very well planned. I can set my schedule for a year ahead of me because all class schedules are set on the registration website. The website of salt lake community college has all the information individuals need so you don’t need to walk down there to find your needed information. Staff working there are very respectful and supportive. They respond patiently and politely. This is an affordable school and you can find a grant, scholarships and other financial help easily. Peaceful environment of it makes you feeling like you are at your home.

The reputation it has due to being a community college is undeserving. I feel like all other universities, the professors can be a hit or miss. I have found the class sizes to be amazing due to the professors always being able to communicate and interact with each student seeking. The facilities, however, are not the best. The gym is not state-of-the-art, but pretty good. The science labs (at the Taylorsville campus) is sub-par but fits the requirement. Overall, a good place get your gen ed requirements and great for people, like me, who couldn't afford a 4-year uni right off the bat.

Terrible community college, especially the online schooling. Many of the instructors don't care and won't even try to communicate with the students unless you're getting all A's or you're the teacher's pet. The worse part is that the school counselors don't even try to help: I was told by one while asking what I needed to do to raise my GPA and what classes I should take to get an Associates to "Check online." That's all they said in a very unkind way. I recommend paying a few extra thousand dollars to go to a University where more of the faculty actually cares.

It's a good school. They have available services for currently enrolled students, such as the Student Writing Center, tutoring, library, Bruin Campus Food Pantry etc. I feel like they are doing their best to help us progress and graduate with all the services they provide for us.

What is your overall opinion of this school?

Salt Lake Community college is overall a great school. The small classes and great people are just a glimpse into the awesome world. Professors are as kind as can be. They will help you with anything you will need. The professors will answer in question you have, no matter how stupid you think it is.

What is your overall opinion of this school?

Salt Lake Community College is a great school for a student to attend while working full-time. There are many night classes, and online options which allow for a student to comfortably create and manage his or her schedule successfully. Also, being that it is a community college, the class sizes are smaller which allows for a specialized and uniquely delivered education with complete access to instructors at any time.

It's pretty good for Concurrent Enrollment and for getting your associates, though there's not much you can do beyond your associates. Besides that, the teachers are amazing and the counselors are on top of things and are more than willing to help. They have helped me to consider more career options and I think that's an amazing reason to be part of Salt Lake Community College, even for just a year.

What is your overall opinion of this school?

Salt Lake Community College is a great place to begin your college career. It's affordable and the class sizes are generally small, with plenty of online options. Every class I've taken here so far has been thoroughly enjoyable. But, like I said, it's only a place to begin your academic career. After completing your generals, you'll need to transfer somewhere else. Thankfully, SLCC integrates with several other colleges and offers plenty of programs for transferring.

What is your overall opinion of this school?

I very much enjoyed attending the Salt Lake Community College. I am currently finishing up my first year and I am very satisfied with my results. The professors are usually available to answer all questions about the course along with opportunities that arise because of taking that particular class. The counselors can usually put you in the right direction. There are plenty of financial aid and scholarship opportunities available.
