I would consider the professors the best thing about my school. I have had some incredibly intelligent teachers who take their jobs very seriously, and I definitely appreciate that. I love being academically and my current teachers all challenge me on an intellectual level. I feel this is preparing me for my transfer to SDSU and the possible intensity of the professors at the university level.
I really like the quality of education that you can get for the price; since I don't make hardly any money, it's great to be able to have the opportunity to learn something for the little cash I have.
The flexibility to explore your interests. You can take classes in whatever you're interested in and figure out what you like before choosing a major.
The Professors are the best thing about this campus because the constantly push you to be better than what you yourself believe!
There is an abundance of resources available; making it easy to accomplish tasks within deadlines.
The best aspect of Mesa is the large variety of classes it has. Looking through the class schedule I feel overwelmed yet excitied at the same time. There is so much to choose from and I find myself thinking of what to take and also wanting to take everythig. It has a lot of transferable classes which gives you confidence that the class you take ensures your future and it is not a waste of time. It also makes arranging your schedule very easy.
I believe the education level in general is the best thing I have come across at Mesa. Every teacher that I have encountered has had a great amount of passion for their work and their students. Each class I have taken so far has been a challenge but as tough as they were, my teachers have given me the motivation to earn above satisfactory grades as I end up loving each subject. I feel that each staff member -not only the teachers- gives so much dedication to their work and that is what I see as great at Mesa.
Our voice, San Diego Mesa College is always having activities going on, educational and beneficial. There is always someone or some group that is in out in the middle of our college trying open up our eyes and ears to the many opportunities we have and also to whats going on around the world. Most of this knowledge is presented by the students for the students through the Mesa Press, the San Diego Mesa College newspaper. There is never a dull day at San Diego Mesa College.
The best thing about my school is that they try to provide you the most help in suceeding in what we want to do in the future as a career. Although the cost for classes has been increased, teachers find ways to make it convenient for us to go to school. For example, online classes, some people don't have the time to go to class so what they do is sign up for online classes.
