My classmates are a hodgepodge of characters. There are some of them who could always be found in the front row answering professors' questions, taking down notes avidly and asking questions of their own. Still, others only attend class every full moon and are certainly going to fail the course. At SDSU, you could make friends for fun, as well as friends for life. One learns how to be an academic as well as a socialite.

Each classmate is different depending on his or her major. I have noticed a lot of people who surprise me with their intelligence or lack thereof. There is definitely a lack of motivation among a lot of students, but in the more challenging classes it is a relief to find other highly motivated students like myself. There are even a lot of students who get together to form study groups in order to succeed. However, there is a lot of mooching off the more motivated students by the bottom feeders of our school.
