I decided to attend SDSU because it has a phenomenal Aerospace Engineering program, one of the best in the nation. SDSU also has many partnerships with Aerospace companies that I know will be of great advantage when looking for internships and a job after graduation. SDSU is very safe and the weather is perfect, that's why I chose SDSU too.
Because I had not serious thought about college during my high school run, I wasn't expecting to go to a university. But in my AVID class the teacher had us apply in various universities just to get our foot in the door. I applied to SDSU and San Marcos. I was accepted in SDSU. This was in my hometown so I could live at home and commute to SDSU easily without worrying about those expenses. That was my main motivation.
First off, I wanted to attend a college that was not near my hometown. I love Milpitas and all, but I knew there were other schools that could offer more for me. San Diego State has a prestigious Nursing program, and that's what got me hooked. The whole ares of San Diego seemed like a good place for me to simply explore and live up my college years. So, that's why I chose it. :)
