My overall opinion of San Joaquin Valley College is great. Its given me the ability to be in control of my future and the career I want to have. They supply good support and options to their students. My own teacher is extremely supportive, helps me when I don't understand and I feel he really cares about helping me succeed! Its the support and care the school shows all around from counselors and other teachers that makes me proud to call this my college. Overall I couldn't have asked for a better school to attend to.

  3. What should every freshman at your school know before they start?

    I would dedicate my time to applying to scholarships. I was so into my work that I went home and studied some more. I regret not talking to couselors about helping me fill out scholarships. I still struggle to find out which ones are real or fake. But I will do all I can to keep looking. My goal is to continue school and whether I get help or not I know I can pull through. It won't be easy but I have God with me. And if God wants me to keep furthering my education He will do all He can to make me go through it. Thank you for your time.

  4. What's the most frustrating thing about your school?

    The classes were too long, and most of the time students studied alone during general classes. I never received my guard card and tried many times to get help from the school, they did really poor at the time because I still don't have my guard card. And the school gave me a voided check that was given late to me after I graduated. It was the money that was left over from my financial award.
