Sandhills Community College holds high standards for their students, and unfortunately sometimes that is very intimidating to some students. While these standards and Sandhills committment to the success of its students has created a very warranted reputation of being one of the best community colleges in North Carolina, it can be overwhelming for less confident students to even think about venturing through their doors, which is really sad, because Sandhills Community College really is an excellent institution of higher education.

The worst thing about my school is that there are many students who attend who do not put forth the effort they should. This is very frustrating to see so many smart students waste a wonderful experience.
