I always let them know that I'm 5 minutes away from the beach every day I'm at school (by us of course).

I love telling everyone I go to Santa Monica College. In my opinion, It's in the best area because it's close to the beach and I just love the feel of the city. The city is beautiful. Not only that, I really do think that SMC is a really great community college. I tell everyone it's a great school. The counselors are a great help with what classes I should take for my major and I feel that all the teachers I met are friendly and they really know what they teach.

I brag about how social everyone is at my school, while catching up with friends from different universities all across the country I've come to the realization that with such a big campus it's so hard to get to know people. However at my school, everyone is social and friendly. That's one of the main reasons I fell in love with SMC.

Santa Monica College is known for their high transfer rates to universities. One important aspect of this is the school's partnership in transfer with UCLA. UCLA is my dream school and it has been since 6th grade. I also like to brag about the girls here and the overall community of my school. A lot of people interact unlike from what I hear from LA Mission College and College of the Canyons. Additionally, my school is close to the beach, 3rd Street Promenade, and there's many other cool places to hang out at.

I brag about how the quality of education at Santa Monica College can be the same quality as a four year university in addition to saving money.

It's a school of great ethnic diversity and offers an excellent education. SMC is a leading community college and transfer school. The teachers are of excellent quality and always willing to help. The counseling center and financial aid help have been incredible. I have met so many great friends here from all walks of life. It has been an excellent learning experience that I will not forget.

how it is the most successful community college.

I tend to brag a lot about the Black Collegians program at my school because it has helped me so much. they have free field trips available that offer students a chance to learn about schools they can transfer to, their counselors are amazing; They really try their best to build a class schedule that has substance, and they keep you up to date about scholarships. But what i find most helpful about Black Collegians is the Mentoring program, where you are paired up with a professor who helps you with all sorts of academic, emotional, and social problems.

Santa Monica College has many things to brag about! First of all, this college, has perfect weather throughout the year. Sunny skies all the time. If somebody is feeling nervous about going to college and not knowing anyone, then they have nothing to worry about if they come to Santa Monica college because everybody is very friendly and helpful, and you'll be able to make friends quickly. Also it doesn't matter what age you are. This college has people of all ages.

When I brag about my school, I tell my friends about the Counseling 20 Class which is only given to SMC students. This class is very beneficial because it allows student to understand the transfer process as well as how to manage ones time.
