The most furstrating thing for me is how sensitive people can be. Moving down south definetely have it's perks and I enjoy very much however the people are very close minded. You have to be extremely careful with how you say things because people get offended. In my school, since almost everyone is African American they are ready to get on the defensive if you say something wrong. I have MANY African American friends up north and anyone can converse with them normally about anything without them feeling offended. It's just something you have to get used to.
Nothing that I can think of.
There are many giudelones to follow here at Savannah State University including visitation hours. A majority of students feel as if the visitation hours are limited but it encourages more time for individual study sessions.
The most frustrating thing to me about my school is that it is hard to get involved in alot of things as a freshman, considering that I am the type of person that likes to get invloved in things. Other than that, the school is excellent.
The knowlegde that the financial aid counselors provide. I feel they don't inform the students of the full amount of aid that they qualify for. This not creates frustration but can persuade a student and thier family that they cannot afford schooling.
lack of diversity
Not being able to get things accomplished with finicial aid in a timely manner
The most frustrating thing at my school is that there are so many rules concerning parking, curfew, and he sports here. The administration treats the students like high schoolers and there is alot of outdated dormsand other buildings that need to be remodeled and still they spend massive amounts on statues.
Sometimes this school is unorganized. If you need help with something they give you the run arounds. The shuttle bus is also frustrating because it takes too long to come. Financial Aid can also be frustrating because it is sometimes hard to contact them. The lack of school spirit is also a downfall.
The most fraustrating thing about my school is Financial Aid and Administration because they would give students the run around and take a long time. Since things are slow her, when the information is given to him/her, it is either just on time or too late.
The most frustrating thing about Savannah State University is paying tuition. If a student apply themselves the work will come easy but the tuition is a hardship.
Financial aid and housing
MAKING SURE ALL IMPORTANT DOCUMENTS ARE TURN IN BY THE DEADLINE: ENROLLMENT, FINANCIAL AID, CLASS PAPERS, AND SCHOOL ACTIVITIES.
Registration process
The lack of student concern for the environment.
The most frustrating thing about Savannah State University is the lack of social events on campus.
