The quality of learning we get from working artists. The internship/co-op program is also pretty good. However, paying for an internship via co-op is not exactly ideal.

The professors are more than willing to help get you out of a creative block and toss ideas around.

The availability of resources from former students. There is a strong sense of connection with all the other artists from around the world. Everybody is creative and is doing what they want despite the financial sacrifices they have to make now and in the future.

My school has an amazing first year program that helps to explore different art mediums. I originally planned to do just photography, but soon learned how to include other mediums as well as photography in my work. Another great thing about my school is that the classes are decently small, allowing more interaction with teachers and students. This way I got to learn more, be producitve, and never lose inspiration.

The Facilities and the way we are being taught. We have access to amazing equiptment and most class sizes are rather small.

The best thing about SAIC is the flexibility the school offers when it comes to choosing courses. At SAIC, students are given plenty of freedom and flexibility to build their own artisitic background. This enables students to either become well rounded in many areas of the arts or focus on only one field of study.

The emphasis on conceptual art, as opposed to rigorous technical and classical training, is something that seems to be unique to this school and also something this school is incredibly committed to. It works for some people and not for others, but for me it is the most perfect environment I could have ever imagined for myself.

it is an art focused school that approached each subject in a way that most schools would not. there are also classes that my school offers that others schools do not have. the teachers here are very open minded and understanding. they also have a a lot of knowledge within their fields.

The professors becuase they are accomdating and motivating and enthusiastic, and passionate about teaching the students here at SAIC. They really do believe in the well being as well as the success of thier students.

The best thing about SAIC is the push and drive to explore new ideas and new territories. The instructors are always encouraging that and most of the time have advice for how to explore your idea or where to look for more information in order to do so. It's also fantastic to work with instructors who are professionals in the field!

The best thing about SAIC is the reputation. Students graduating from the School can normally get a really good job...considering SAIC is thought to be one of the best art schools in the world.

I enjoy the class sizes. I rarely have a class with over fifteen in it including the instructor.
