At my college, I am not pressured to drink alcohol. I am a girl who loves to go out and have fun, but I do not need alcohol to make or break my night. My friends love me for who I am and do not pressure me to conform to the "social norm" of college. At Scripps, individuality of personal decisions is admired and respected, and I cannot say the same thing for any of the schools that my friends attend.
The amazing weather, the unbeatable academics, the intelligence and academic dedication of the students and the availability and concern the faculty and staff have for the students.
Weather-southern California weather is so much better than their East Coast and Pacific Northwest weather!
The campus is beautiful, the other Claremont colleges nearby provide variety, and there is a lot of stuff going on all the time on the campuses. Alcohol is provided for free by the schools at many events and parties.
