Seattle Central College Top Questions

Before I had come to this school, I wish I would have known what I was supposed to do. By that, I mean that because neither of my parents had finished college, I didn't know what forms to fill out, where to go, or what any of the college forms meant. I would have especially liked to know ahead of time ways to be able to fund you college education because it can get very expensive.

Before i came to Seattle Central, i wish had been exposed to the practice of patience. I attended Wilberforce University in Xenia, Ohio before Seattle Central during my time there I would often make rash decisions never thinking about the consequences when it comes to my future. I made rash decisions regarding my academic future because I was young and truly didnot know what i wanted to do in the first place and secondly I was fully of myself and the talents I possess and believed I could adapt anywhere. Central has taught me to think more carefully and strategize.

Parking is impossiable which makes me take the bus. However, I do have to go to our Dental clinic on 23 and Jackson and that makes it really hard to commute from Seattle Central to Seattle Vocational Insistute without being late.

How different Seattle is than where I was born and raised. I didn't know much about the city life or the city. I have grown to love it now. I grew up on the eastside in a small town and haven't ventured far from it.

I wish I had known how amazing the teachers at this school. I wish I had known how nasty some people at this school can people. I wish I had known the printing system of the school because it is more complicated than physics. I wish I had known how the finacial aid office at Seattle Central worked. I wish I had known which class to avoid and which class to take.
