Shaw University is the first historically black school in the south, being that its such an old school the buildings are older. Shaw may not look like your top-notch state schools but its still just as good!!!

I wish I had known abou the dorm conditions because even though my room wasn't bad I seen my share of the poor conditions. Needless to say, as students, things will only stay as good as we let them and with our new president and new school equipment, we have a new sense of school pride and I am beyond excited to return.

The Bad Living conditions and the problems that the university has been occuring

I wish I had known the living conditions before I went Shaw University. The are bats in the ceilings, dirt and grime in the bathrooms, and alot of dust in the ventilation systems. I was a part of the protest that made the media. I will be transferring from Shaw University in the spring semester.

Before I can to Shaw I wish that I had know more about the Financial aspect of college. I think that it is very important to know your options, and to know all that it is to know about whichever loans you do take out. I wish i woul have know how much I would have to pay just if i took out a 1000 loan.

I wish I would haven know more about the requirements in order to graduate.
