Honestly, I had never heard of Shippensburg University until my mom mentioned that my cousin had attended here. Not being one of the state schools that was closest to my home, no one from my high school ever looked at Shippensburg. It's biggest feature to me, however, was it's 4+1 program for psychology. I wasn't 100{4a082faed443b016e84c6ea63012b481c58f64867aa2dc62fff66e22ad7dff6c} positive that psychology was what I wanted to pursue, but the university had a program that allowed you to earn your Master's in only 5 years by taking some graduate classes your junior/senior years.

We have the best one in the PA state school system, and we are very proud of that. Our education graduates are extremely well prepared for a career in that field and they enjoy every step of the way.
