I wish that I had known the dynamics and the demographics of the Boston area.
I wish I had known how important it was to get involved and really put myself out there in order to make new friends.
There is a lot of pressure to do well academically
Honestly, there is nothing I wish I had known before coming to Simmons College. It is a very encouraging college atmoshere that emphasizes the balance of academics and having a social life. It gives me all the tools I need to make my professional and personal dreams a reality.
The clubs and sports were not really a big thing at Simmons. I miss that kind of socializing
The one thing I wish I had known before I came to this school was how diverse the community was. Arriving at Simmons my freshman year was quite the cultural shock. Since I came from the small town of Amherst, NH I was very caught off guard to be emerged in such a diverse community. I have learned so much more about culture since being here.
There is nothing is specific that I wish I would have known before coming to this school.
That URI had more options for pre-med studies that tied in with Brown, and that people here are very unaccepting of anything but the most liberal ideas.
I think before I came to this school I wish I had known just how academically challenging it really is. Simmons was not my first choice, however when I got accepted into the physcial therapy program there and found out how prestigious this program was I decided to look into it. I also wish I knew just how great the opportunities are where my school is located.
