it is full of strong-minded, appreciative people who generally care about you and your well being. Simpson is a community that will reach out despite your background or belief. everyone in the building wants to help you build a better future, for yourself and others. they establish ways to make you become more successful .
Simpson University is a great university that's also a small college. The environment at this college is a very christian welcoming school. The school is located in Redding, California that is surrounded by wildlife, and fun outdoor activities for the weekend.
Simpson University is an amazing school to study at. It is a fairly small school with class sizes not exceeding 50. The food is decent on most days and the coffee shop provides great service. What I enjoy most about Simpson is the community. There is an overwhelming sense of belonging among the students. It feels like home away from home.
When discussing Simpson with a group of current students, you may get a lot of mixed reviews. Some may tell you how much they love being a red hawk while others will just tell you to run away. The problem is, the school and the way you view it is heavily based on your outlook. If you have a positive attitude, you will find things you love. You will make connections and have tons of activities to join in on. You will also thrive in your classes, because honestly, they’re not that hard. But if you go into Simpson with a bad attitude then you’re setting yourself up for failure. This is a private Christian school, so obviously there are going to be rules and it’s not going to be a fun party school experience like you might expect. But you will meet amazing people and hear great stories. You will feel loved and cared for by staff and faculty and even have fun at their school functions. This school goes out of this way to make you feel like home, and they do a great job at doing it. However, just like many other campuses, there are issues. There are a couple things that students dislike (food options, financial aid, sports, etc.) Luckily, the staff at the college is always responsive and does it’s best to listen to students complaints and actually make a change about it. Simpson truly is a great school with a mission to serve God and I would recommend it to anyone looking for a small but loving Christian education.
Simpson University is a place where students feel they belong and can form meaningful relationships with nearly every person on campus -- staff or student. The fact that as a student, there is an opportunity to develop personal relationships with all of one's professors is not something commonly seen around campuses today -- This is another perk of the school. Simpson's values and mission statement include, but are not limited to Community, Excellence, Accountability, Integrity, and Service. The previously listed traits held by each student on campus, including athletes, and staff. All of these components affect each student personally as it helps round each and everyone to hold all of these values and strive to be the best person they can be every day, all while becoming closer to our Savior, Jesus Christ. Simpson University is a place committed to giving each student a lifetime of meaningful experiences, relationships, and shaping each student's mind and character as a whole.
Simpson University is great because there are small class sizes so the faculty really get to know you, everything is close by, and it is a very safe campus. I feel completely safe walking outside at night by myself. The best thing about this University is the World Serve Missions. If you come to this college you for sure need to join. It is a life changing experience. Little campus with a lot of love.
Simpson University is a wonderful college. They make sure to provide and accommodate each student's interests and needs. They try to make everyone is involved and included, which gives the campus a family- like feel. Though it is small, it is a great school
I enjoy Simpson and it's small environment, however it is not for everyone. Major specific classes are usually only offered at one time which means if you would life to graduate on time, you don't have much wiggle room in your schedule. It is very expensive, but the financial aid office tries to help as much as possible. The professors are great at their job and you'll always learn. The only downside is the food. Lack of diversity in the cafeteria but there are lots of places nearby to eat. All in all it's a good school with good Christian students.
Awesome School. Beautiful campus and lots of acres of open land. Nice soccer field, baseball & softball fields. Beautiful newly finished gym. Nice weight room with lots of weights & accessible to all students, not just athletes. Amazing food in cafe & lots of selections. Great salad bar & always have sandwich bar available, as well as healthy choices and comfort food. Safe campus & campus security. Amazing sports programs with over 9 sports for both men and women. Amazing coaches & professors. One of the best nursing programs in the state! Really great chapels offered twice a week! Great events on campus to get to know other students! Lots of students from all over the state, out of state, & from foreign countries.
