What do you brag about most when you tell your friends about your school?

How much fun it is and the great town that it's located in!

When I tell my friends about my school, I brag about the pervasiveness of creativity in the student body, faculty and staff, course structures, and even the architectural design of the school. I also brag about the array of majors and courses one can take and how each academic department is strong in its own way. For example, the Management and Business department is very structured and courses in that department are focused on group projects and case studies whereas the Philosophy department contains courses that are based on intense class discussions.

I brag about the financial aid, dining hall, campus safety, and on-campus freedom the most when speaking about my college because these are the things that are significant to me since I started in freshman year.

At Skidmore, everything is inclusive. Its small size let's you find friends from all different walks of life. The professors are happy to teach students that are excited about their future and want to base their careers on the foundations of a strong education. None of the students are competitive with each other; we are all excited to tell each other what we learned in class that day. Saratoga Springs is the perfect location for a college. You can walk or ride your bike anywhere, and be guranteed to find a good conversation at the end of your travels.
