That I really need to stay away from toxic people. School must come first.
Snow College has a lot of amazing things you can do but they require a lot of time commitments so if you choose one you won't be able to do another. I applied to be a student advocate and an abassador for my school, but I couldn't get it because I am a theater major and they didn't want to work with the schedule.
The worst thing about Snow College could also be considered the best thing. Because it is such a small school, some people find it annoying how you know everyone on the campus and how it just feels like a bigger high school. Some students get sick of their classmates easily because they spend all day, every day with the same people. However, coming right out of high school, Snow College is a perfect transition school to get used to being on your own and living the grown up life before transferring to a larger university.
Snow College is a good school but they really lack in fairness. Their student government and some teams are very political. They seem to only choose those students who live close to the school or parents who have connections with the school. I think it's very frustrating. Many amazing leaders and good students who apply for teams or leadership positions get looked over just because they don't have priority over the polities. Myself and many other students have agreed that this has happened many times. It's frustrating that so many good students miss many growing opportunities.
The size, therefore limiting the amount of class choices there are to take. As a freshman I didn't get quite the selection that i was hoping for.
