What should every freshman at your school know before they start?

Advice. I would have tons of advice to give myself, I really wouldn't know where to start. I not only know just about college life, but I know alot about life itself. First of all, I would tell myself that boys could wait! I would also tell myself that babies could wait! As far as my college experiences. I would have to begin with my experiences with online schools. My experiences were not very good, so I would probably tell myself to not apply to online universities. Online universities are good for well disciplined students, which I was not back then. I would tell myself to not incur alot of educational debt with student loans and then not complete any degrees. I would also tell myself to go to college straight after graduation. This I did not do, which has caused me alot of hardship. I would tell myself that no matter what any of my friends are doing, that my education and future are the most important.

Don't drop out you aren't going to be a rock star. You will have plenty of time to pursue your music later. It's only a few years so study hard doing something you enjoy in a field of interest to you. Don't just do what your parents tell you to do this is your future not theirs. Select a major that will be in demand in the future like computer science/IT you become very interested in this later in like anyway and become a computer geek. Computers also take over the music industry and recording so learn it now!

I would go to college a whole lot sooner to get to the highest level that I desired. After you have a family it gets harder to continue school. You have to stay motivated.

The best advice I could give myself if I were to be able to go back in time and talk to my high school self would have to be something like this:: " Stephanie, college is nothing like highschool. It requires commitment and perseverance. Don't go for the job that will make you the most money, but for the job that you can enjoy doing everyday. Whatever you do, Stephanie, don't slack on your homework because that first semester will really be a slap in the face if you do. You can do it so stick in there!"
