I liked SCC and it was a good place to get my general class out of the way and not go into debt. The tuition was very reasonable and they have payment plans. Small class sizes and the professors are helpful. As well, you can take most of your classes online.
A very local, safe, and extremely affordable school. I love the classes, students, and professors. I especially love the price! I appreciate the affordable food, books, supplies, and, above all else, the affordable tuition. I will now not go into student loan debt thanks to the cheap accessabilities.
If you are going for your two years and know exactly what you are wanting then this is the perfect fit for you. I didn't know exactly what school I wanted to attend right after i got out of college and so Southeastern Community College was the perfect fit for me. I am able to talk to all of my teachers one on one and they are able to help me learn to the best of my ability! Go SCC!
Southeastern Community College is what I would describe as a very homely college. By homely I mean that I feel very safe and welcomed on campus. The staff and students are all very friendly. The professors also make sure the students have access to them for any and all questions and do their best to answer them. My main problem with SCC though, is that there are very little clubs to get involved in. I have been attending SCC since August of 2016 and am only in the Phi Theta Kappa honor society. I wish they would provide the students with an event to showcase their various clubs and organizations. Other than that, I have thoroughly enjoyed my time at SCC and am very sad to leave it.

If I could go back in time and tak to myself as a senior in high school, I would tell myself to enjoy school and do better at my studies. I would recommend going to college right after high school and not wait until I was in my 30's. That going to college shortly after high school the knowledge is still fresh in your mind and is a lot easier that way. I would tell myself that it is great to do good in school, and that to get a good job you really have to apply yourself. I would tell myself that no matter what I am proud of who I have become today. I would tell myself not to just take the easy classes and to really challenge ourself, that I know we can handle it.
The best thing about Southeastern Community College is that it is very accomidating. If you are disabled it has handicapped accessibilty. They offer classes with multiple times so then you can find the times that best suit you. If you need night classes they offer some of those. They even have classes you can do online.
It is very small and doesn't allow for a lot of cultural experiences.
Anybody can attend Southeastern Community College. It is a great place for students of all ages to get a great start with their education. There are also vocational associate's degrees available. Do you want to learn? Go to SCC. Do you want a better job? Go to SCC.
Usually I brag that I am not the oldest student on campus, even though sometimes I feel like it. The students, faculty members and administration are very friendly and caring.
