Southern Nazarene University is a christian college where the values of Christianity are encorporated into the workload and lifestyle. We have a devotional and prayer at the beginning of class to bless the learning process.

My school is a small private university. I was looking at many small schools. This university stood out to me because of the welcome to our family feeling I got when touring the campus. Everyone was so friendly to me for no reasons other than those are the kind of people around this campus. Other religious schools I visited had this to a smaller degree. And it was almost nonexistent at the state school I attended previously. There is no spirit of indifference towards each other like on other campuses.

This school has a great student to professor ratio, and th profs really do care how we (as students) do in school as well as in life.
