The best thing about my school is that Southern Nazarene is I am treated like I am a student that is going to help them reach a 100% graduation rate, not a student they will try to push to a limit and try to weed out of the bunch. I am not set out on my own to struggle through college. I have advisors and professors there with me through my college experience; helping equip me with more than enough knowledge to succeed.
The professors are great. You are not treated as a number but as a real person. I have been able to get involved in some great extra curricular activities. So far, my experience at SNU has been WONDERFUL!
The community. This school places a big focus on getting out of the dorm room and getting to know people. I believe that without the effort they put into the community many people on campus would become secluded into their rooms. SNU offers many different opportunities at least every month to get out and participate in some form of community activity.
I think the best thing about my school is its size. I previously attended a larger school. It felt like a city, you didn?t know many people at all. Teachers had no idea if a student was in their class most of the time. My current school is the perfect size. Teachers know students if they?ve never taught them. Peers are with each other in numerous classes throughout their undergraduate paths. Knowing more people really makes life more convenient when you get a professor you?ve never had before or if you need homework help, or such things.
They offer programs for adult students returning to school that are feasible to do.
I love the professors and the attention. I always feel valued.
The professors really care about you and because of the small class size you can develop a very close relationship with them.
The professors really care.
