It's amazing! They make enrolling a breeze. Motivation to take this all the way to a degree comes from within. My acceptance advisor is always available or gets back to me within a day. The whole layout of the webpage is easy to navigate, easy to apply, and someone is always there to answer any questions or provide help. Classmates make great peer supports as well.
Campus access hasn't been much but I am an online student with a short drive of availability to campus, it's nice to be so close. Tech assistance, teachers, advisors, as well as multiple other means of resources to aid students on different needs both academic and financial supports with additional mental health awareness and assistance.
College is important for many reasons, including long-term financial gain, job stability, career satisfaction and success outside of the workplace. Southern New Hampshire University leaders agree that education is important, and research indicates that earning a degree can have a significant and expansive impact on your life. SNHU provides an excellent education for their students. They have mastered the art of distant education, and it shows in the quality of their curriculum. During my time at SNHU so far, I had a wide array of professors from various backgrounds, both retired and current practitioners, and many with didactic degrees. In general, most of the aids I encountered were very receptive and eager to help
I absolutely love being a student at southern new Hampshire university it's wonderful the resources are great everything is clear to understand and the work is not too difficult the instructors are great and the academic advisor is amazing as well I love it

Take more chances. Don't follow what everyone else is doing. Follow your own path and stick to gut. Listen to those who been there before. Learn from there mistakes and succuses.
Most importantly never bring your self down, there is a tone of people in the world that want to bring you done. Its your job to keep your head high, its there job to bring it down.
I am an online student, so I'm not getting the campus experience. However, I cannot think of anything negative about my school. We have our own social media page with tons of students on it and there is literally no complaning. I love SNHU!
I feel the extra cirricular activities are the best thing because you learn how to better yourself as a person and how to expand your resume outside of your jobs and academic career. It gives you skills you can't learn in the classroom.
My classmates are determind individuals striving to pursue their education to ensure they have a prosperous future.
Great online program!
Our school is most known for being a small, close-knit community. Everyone on campus has seen or talked to the majority of other students and that way you dont get lost in the crowd. Also, we have a wide range of ethnicities that go here.
SNHU offers both my undergraduate and graduate programs in Classical History and Philology as online degrees. Finding online colleges that offer more than basic history degrees is nearly impossible. I have been attending online classes for several years and have tried several different majors. I have attended the University of Phoenix, Ashford University, and American Public University System as well. Due to permanent disabilities, I cannot attend a physical campus. Online attendance allows me to proceed at my own pace, although that can be a flaw as sometimes I procrastinate sometimes.
Someone who wants a good academic experience without it being overly challenging. Someone likes a smaller, less busy and crowded environment. It's a bit difficult to find people who don't want to spend their weekends at parties, but we're here.
The most frustrating thing about my school is its location. I constantly feel as if I am trapped in the middle of the nowhere once I leave campus.
how much fun we have. Also about the class sizes and the great friends that i made
A person that is not out going would have a difficult time making friends at this school. Students are very friendly and will approach other students in their classes even if they do not know them. Also students that are constantly studying and need a quiet campus would have a difficult time studying on this campus because people are constantly hanging around outside making noise.
I wish I knew how to manage money better. SNHU is expensive, but I never expected this much financial trouble before I got here/
SNHU recently became the National Soccer Champions for 2013, they have a great soccer program, they also have a diverse amount of students from all nationalities which makes it appealing in a small town like Manchester.
I do a lot on online chats and disscussions.
I do not know, I attend online classes.
I am currently not attending the school as I am graduating from NHTI and transferring over in the fall of 2015. However, I have known many students who did attend this school and they have shared their stories with me. From what I understand, it is a low student ratio which personalizes the class towards students and gives them that experience for the professor to cater the need of learning that students hope for student.
We have three sororities and fraternities on campus. The three fraternities and sororities consist of one nationally recognized sorority and fraternity and two local sororities and fraternities. The national sorority is Kappa Chi, while the fraternity is Kappa Delta Phi. One of the local sororities is Phi Delta Beta, while their brothers are Phi Delta Theta. And the last local sorority is Phi Omega Psi, and the fraternity is Phi Delta Psi. I joined a sorority my first semester of freshmen year and it was the best choice I've ever made for myself. You get the opportunity to meet some amazing people and there are plenty of sororities/fraternities to see which one is the best fit for you as each organization has their own unique personality to go along with it. Greek life at SNHU also likes to focus on community, working together, and philanthropy.Southern New Hampshire University also has a no-hazing policy so you don't have to worry about anything from the movies you've seen actually happening in real life. I definitely recommend looking into greek life no matter if you're an incoming freshmen, transfer student, or current student at SNHU!
Dorms are great, but Shapiro Library is amazing! It has a Starbucks cafe right on the first floor (and yes, you can use your meal plan money there!). On the second floor is the Learning Commons where tutors are located or you can go in and request personal, one-on-one sessions if you prefer that as well! The third floor has a quiet/no-talking zone if you really need to focus. My favorite place within the library are the private work rooms. You do have to book them ahead of time online, but it's all worth it. They're the perfect place to do work with friends while still being away from everyone else, allowing you better focus on your work.
