What's the most frustrating thing about your school?

I feel like the professors all have the same political outlook. The city of Ashland is very liberal, so it seems that the professors teaching at the University are all similar. There is a wide spectrum of students attending the college, but I haven't noticed the same with the professors. However, this is only my second term as a college students, so I haven't had many different professors as of yet!

The most frustrating thing that I ever experienced at my school was the fact that you would always have to schedule an appointpoint with your professors. It was really aggravating because I lived 40 minutes away from school and sometimes I didn't want to sit around and wait for hours or have to drive all the way back to campus on my day off. I was tight on money and was always on a a "gas crunch" stretching it to the last mile.

The most frustrating thing is probably the same as the worst thing about my school. No Women's Studies minor and not good organization in the offices does not make for happy students all the time.

Off the top of my head, I can't really think of the most frustrating thing about my school. As of January 4th, 2010, it's only my 2nd term at SOU and I still have a lot of getting used to. Although, there is this one class called University Seminar that is required for all fresmen students to take. It counts as a big portion of graduation. It's my least favorite class, but it's a skill building class relating to writing and research which will be very useful in my college career and my furte career.

The most frustrating thing about my school is that the dorm building I live in is really old. Not even the beautiful old, just old. The solid brick walls do not allow for cell phone reception in most areas, and it is at the very edge of campus so it is along walk between classes.

The website and online processes are messy and often confusing. Often you may want something done but it doesn't work well or at all online (if you can even find the web location to do it). The human touch is what works best here, and all the staff I've talked to are very helpful, but it often takes that extra step of calling or walking to a certain office in order to get things worked out.

The most frustrating thing about my school is the financial aid office. they told me they would give me a certain dollar amount and gave me a lower one instead. also they made me reapply for enrollment at the end of last year and for my student loan as well.

The most frustrating thing about SOU is the difficulty of the theatre department. You may have one, maybe two attempts to get into the acting emphasis in theatre. If you fail these auditions you must choose a different track (costumes, stage design, lights...).
