Southern Vermont College was a wonderful college and I made lots of friends there when I attended, and the teachers were awesome too. They had plenty of sports to choose from, including Rugby! I stayed on campus, and the rooms were quite small for two people, but at least my roommate was decent. Unfortunately the school is closed now.
Southern Vermont College is a small college located in Bennington VT. The college is great at offering one-on-one help from the teachers. This college also strives to help their students graduate on time and with their degree. The college also offers delicious food from local farms, and has a cafeteria that is open all day and allows students to get as many meals as they want. Overall, SVC is a great college that really looks out for their students.
They have good academics and wonderful professors that are willing to help you and meet with you as often as you need. The biggest downfall of the school is that there is not much to do on campus because it is so small and if you don't play a sport it's hard to fit in or make friends.
Overall, I believe that Southern Vermont College offers great opportunities for students of all backgrounds. Being a small school, it offers a small close knit community where you are able to achieve in both your academics and learning how to be away from home for the first time helping you grow as a person. SVC provides a lot of support and knowledge to their students, and the professors are more than willing to help you get the best education that you strive for.

If i could go back and talk to myself i would tell my self to take college classes. Going into college was a shock. I didnt expect this much work. If i took some college credited classes in highschool it would of been a better transittion into the college life.
My school is best known for there Nursing and Radiology program.
I wish I had known how intense the nursing program was. I would have tried to take summer classes beforehand.
A party person or a city person should not attend this school.
