The most frustrating thing about SBU is trying to figure out billing information. During the summer before fall payments are due, it is hard to talk to the same person to get your questions answered.
The fact that it is so expensive has left me trying to find a job. The town of Bolivar is not very populated. So there are not many job opportunities. I have spent several days driving up to Bolivar and putting in resumes and filling out applications to every possible place. So far, I haven't heard anything. SBU has a great Business program and I want to be able to further my education there. However, with the lack of financial aid, things are looking tough and nearly impossible.
Nothing , because is great. What can you say about your school if it is what you are looking for??
The most frustrating part of this school is the closed mindedness towards athletes and people who do not fit into the "fish bowl" that 95{4a082faed443b016e84c6ea63012b481c58f64867aa2dc62fff66e22ad7dff6c} of the students at this school were born and raised in. Being a baptist school, to many students and faculty are very biased towards anyone who's not as devoted to the faith as they are.
The town that SBu is in is by far the most frustraiting thing. It is tiny and after about a week you have seen it all.
Lack of funding for the theatre.
