I wish I had known that I needed a laptop for my major before I came to this school. At other institutions, laptops are sometimes provided to the students for schoolwork while enrolled in classes. At this institution, you have to buy EVERYTHING that you will need. They don't do loans, so all you have to work with is the financial aid fefund from the Pell Grant, and that's not enough for anything but books and supplies (pens, paper, binders, etc.).
It goes for this school and any school, and that is that there are as many scolarships as people say there are. Thousands.
The one thing I wish I would have known is that colllege is not like high school. When I was in high school I thought that all you had to do to pass is do your homework. Not in college you dont. College you have to study more and keep up your grades.
