I think one of the most frustrating things about my school would be the lack of activities and social life on campus. As an athlete here at SWOSU, I dont have alot of time outside the classroom and field, but I do have alot of time in the fall when my sport is not in season. I think they really need to improve on the social events and activities that go on. There just arent alot of groups or clubs to attend or be apart of.
The meal plan here on campus has a time slot where you can only use one meal per alotted time. By the end of the week I would have meals left over that I could not use up, because I had already used one meal during that time, so I simply ended up losing that money. It's completely unfair, but they have had discussions looking for changes to the meal plans, and they are talking about changing it.
I, again, believe that finances are what keep me worried and frustrated. It is very difficult to find a job in a small town and the cost and time consuming college hinders one from obtaining an occupation and a full bank account. It's all just so expensive.
The small town. There isn't much here. Shopping is limited to Walmart and antiques, the movie theatre needs to be redone, and the bowling alley has 6 lanes. Also, the food prices. Last I checked a box of Velveeta and shells was not $4.25.
Probably the most frustrating thing would be finding outside or additional tutoring sources other than the instructors.
